Court Vacation 2025 - 2026
The Court vacation will commence Monday, 22 December 2025 and conclude Friday, 30 January 2026.
The new Court term begins on Monday, 2 February 2026.
A Duty Judge is available for urgent listings during the vacation.
Matters may be listed for s 34 conferences, s 26 mediations and hearings before Commissioners throughout the vacation except for the public holidays and the public service holiday on Monday 29 December 2025.
The final Registrar's directions hearing list for 2025 will be on Friday, 12 December 2025. The Registrar's directions hearing list will resume on Monday, 19 January 2026.

Both Online Registry and Online Court will be operating 24 hours a day as normal during the vacation period. Parties are encouraged to avail themselves of these resources:
- Applications, appeals, notices of motion and subpoenas can continue to be filed by Online Registry.
- Directions, listing dates and access orders for subpoenas and notice to produce can continue to be sought in Online Court.
- Filings and requests in criminal matters can continue by email to LEC_criminalfilings@justice.nsw.gov.au throughtout the vacation period.
- Filings and requests in tree dispute matters can continue by email to treedisputefilings@justice.nsw.gov.au thorughout the vacation period.
