The Chief Judge is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Senior Deputy Registrar and Deputy Registrar to the Court.
Ms Donette Holm has been appointed Senior Deputy Registrar of the Court.
Ms Holm is an Australian lawyer with almost 20 years’ applied experience in environment and planning law. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from Macquarie University (2002). Ms Holm joins the Court from the Department of Planning and Environment where she was the Principal Legal Officer in Litigation with responsibility for leading a large team conducting planning and administrative law litigation, including mediation and conciliation. She has appeared as an advocate in several classes of the Court’s jurisdiction.
Ms Holm will commence duties on Wednesday 24 August 2022.
Ms Elizabeth Orr has been appointed Deputy Registrar of the Court.
Ms Orr is an Australian lawyer. Ms Orr holds a Juris Doctor from Macquarie University (2016), a Bachelor of Arts from University of Sydney (2013) and was admitted into practice in 2020. For the last 4 years Ms Orr has been Associate to the Chief Judge of the Court, and prior to that a commissioner support officer at the Court. Before coming to the Court, she worked as an Intern at the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute and Trial Monitor at the Khmer Rouge War Crimes Tribunal in the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia.
Ms Orr will commence duties on Monday 31 October 2022.
